You can see how Charlie Adlard is maturing his style, this one is quite good and riveting. Can't say the same about Petrucha, though.

I like how they set up Aquarius as a conspiracy within a conspiracy, it gives the comic freedom to do what they want with the conspiracy angle while avoiding conflicts with the tv show

that being said, Im finding that keeping up with the comic mythology can be trickier than keeping up with the tv show mythology...
