The "Apology is policy" line by Scully replaces the traditional intro phrase "The truth is out there". Beautiful easter wgg.

This episode really presents more questions than answers. Was Scully right about the government's experiments, or was Mulder right and what was lost was a hybrid? Either way, an exciting entry in the series.

Lots of great stuff here. One part that sticks out to me is how Scully is now building her own alternate conspiracy theory around whats really going on. Its nice to see that she is responding to the evidence presented to her rather than just being a contrarian.

I do like how the show has never made it Mulder vs. Scully. It's always Mulder being a little too eager and Scully wanting to wait until there's more evidence. Sure, Mulder's leaps of logic sometimes get them closer to the finish line, but Scully wants to provide concrete answers that can be quantified as per their job.
